Pay Rate/Range: $20-22/hr

Description:  We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Aircraft Sheet Metal Mechanic to join a local aerospace company. The selected candidate will complete assembly of sheet metal components, focusing on close tolerance drilling and riveting per detailed blueprints and specifications. The ideal candidate has several years of relevant experience and will serve as the focal point within a small team, similar to a crew chief role but without direct leadership duties. Candidates with automotive repair, aircraft wing part experience, or fabrication backgrounds are encouraged to apply. 

Job Requirements: The job requires a High School Diploma or GED, completion of a blueprint reading class, and several years of experience in Rivet/Sheet Metal Assembly. Additionally, candidates should have experience with close tolerance drilling in composite or metallic sub-structures and be proficient in measuring close tolerance parts, holes, and other components.

Job Type: Contract-to-Hire

Shift/Schedule:  Mon-Thur, 5am-3:30pm or 6am-4:30pm
